Users of this supply who upgrade to the latest HP firmware may experience issues with cartridge recognition.
Please note the following:
– Firmware updates for these printers are prompted when a Wi-Fi connection is enabled.
– Cartridges ALREADY INSTALLED will continue to work even if the update is accepted.
– Once the firmware update has been accepted the printer will continue to function normally until a cartridge is replaced. On replacement, the cartridge will not be recognized and the printer will not function.
– This issue is industry-wide and GSS is actively working to update chips accordingly
